After graduation, Susan worked at a local photography studio, Gibson Greeting Cards and Cincinnati Milacron. You could find Susan photographing animals and flowers for calendars and greeting cards or climbing on top of machines and cranes photographing industrial products.

In 1988, Susan opened her own photography studio. Although Susan's passion is for animals, her customers' interests are broad and varied, including:

• family and individual portraits
• children
• high school seniors
• animals - including pets and exotic animals
• commercial and industrial - brochures, business portraits, advertisements
